De vertaalslag van theorie naar praktijk

Er bestaat een schat aan wetenschappelijk onderzoek en staatsrechtelijke rapporten over ons kiesstelsel, maar deze kennis blijft te vaak onbereikbaar voor het grote publiek. Wat ons platform uniek maakt, is de vertaalslag. Wij vertalen complexe en gortdroge materie naar heldere, toegankelijke inzichten voor burgers, media en beleidsmakers; zonder de nuance te verliezen.

Hierbij kijken we bewust over de grenzen van de Nederlandse polder heen. We staren ons niet blind op theoretische modellen, maar analyseren de internationale praktijkervaring. Wat kunnen we leren van het Deense kiesstelsel, de Ierse stemmethode of de Duitse kiesdrempel? Door deze praktijkvoorbeelden tastbaar te maken, laten we zien dat elke keuze in een kiesstelsel een bewuste afweging is tussen waarden. Wij leveren de heldere bouwstenen, zodat het publieke gesprek over onze democratie gevoerd kan worden op basis van feiten en concrete ervaringen.
